How do the Round Prices tool affect the prices?

This is a fantastic tool we built to make the pricing look seamless in your store. You can edit the general price multiplier setting when you login to the app, go to “settings” and scroll down to the bottom of the page.

There are three options, which are listed below.

  1. Round prices to the nearest 99 cents (recommended)
  2. Round prices to the nearest dollar (recommended)
  3. No, leave the markups as they are (not recommended)

What exactly does this do?

This will either make all your products look like the following below:

$19.99 – nearest 99 cents
$19.00 – nearest dollar
$19.43 – leave alone

As you can imagine, the third option will have different cents pricing for most of your products and make your store’s pricing look messy.

We highly recommend using the first or second method to have a consistent pricing structure throughout your website.
