I noticed a pricing discrepancy on my imported product. What should I do?
If there are any pricing discrepancies on an item, you’ll receive an alert from the Dropship Beauty app upon logging in. The alert should look something like this. The pricing alert will display at the top page of the dashboard. Click “view recommendations” to see the products in need of attention.
From here, you will see the list of items with pricing discrepancies. Click “re-import” on the select product to make further edits to the prices.
You will then be taken to the product “import/re-import” page. Scroll down to the “variants” section of the page, and you will see which options need attention. You can either manually adjust the prices, or you can use the price multiplier setting to automatically update them.
After such new edits are made, click “re-import” and give the price update about a minute or two to complete. The new prices will then display on your website.
Once you have done this for all products with pricing discrepancies, this alert will no longer be displayed on your app.
This feature is designed to help limit any pricing issues on your website. With Shopify’s frequent system updates, it is hard to automatically adjust new prices when we make changes on the dropship cost. Therefore, this is a great way to routinely regulate our products on your store, and to match dropship costs to retail prices.
